The Institute for Imago Relationship Therapy of Greater Chicago

We are a group of Imago Relationship Therapists in the Greater Chicago Area who formed a local, not for profit organization in March 1993. The Institute is dedicated to the premise that committed, conscious, and loving relationships are essential for the healing of human suffering and for the development of a world in which children are supported in achieving their full potential.

Our intention is to create an entity which would provide professional support for each other, as well as supporting the growth of Imago within the community and educate the public about its benefits and availability of Imago Therapy.

Our Vision

The membership maintains a commitment to using the Dialogue process in its interactions and communications, thereby modeling and encouraging an attitude of mutual respect and empathy in the resolution of disparate points of views.

The Institute assumes a leadership role in supporting the professional standards of Imago Therapy, and in educating the public about its benefits and availability. The Institute is further dedicated to the ideal of making these benefits available to those who desire Imago therapy regardless of social, cultural or financial circumstances, or sexual orientation.
